American space transportation company, SpaceX has hinted plans to make its Starlink high-speed satellite internet system available for aircraft, cars, and boats in the U.S.Â As per sources familiar with the knowledge of the matter, SpaceXÂ has filedÂ an application with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to get approval for using its Starlink services for moving vehicles.
Connectivity to Starlink satellite internet will enable the extension of network connectivity from homes and offices to vehicles, vessels, and aircraft. With this move, users have uninterrupted access to internet while on the move, whether it be while driving a truck across the country, or moving a freighter from Europe to a US port.
