Tech giant, HCL has recently partnered with Unleash, an innovative program to achieve UN Sustainable Development Goals, to employ youth to develop innovative helpful solutions in order to achieve aquatic ecosystem conservation.
These solutions will tackle challenges from source (glaciers and mountains) to sink (seas and oceans) and their links to terrestrial ecosystems.
According to a credible source, both the entities will join hands to establish a year of youth-led innovations. Precisely, the collaboration will allow youth to create and launch solutions that will facilitate SDG 15 i.e., life on land and SDG 14 i.e., life underwater and investigate synergies with other SDGs as well.
Furthermore, during the whole procedure, the youth employed will be guided by industry experts and will get hands-on support to make sure that the solutions are practically feasible and related to the context.

Besides this, the collaboration will help to scale the pre-existing early-stage solution in biodiversity by enrolments in incubation program named UNLEASH Plus. Thematic insight training sessions will continue to take place throughout the year, with the aim of delivering key learnings on the essence of the theme.
