Production Resource Group, L.L.C. (PRG), an entertainment and event technology provider, has recently entered a unique partnership with The Forum Group, a staffing and recruiting services provider. This partnership has resulted in the creation of PRG Forum as a minority-owned, global production solutions company.
This initiative has been taken to offer career pathways to production professionals emerging from minority and under-represented communities. Under the partnership, PRG will provide cutting-edge solutions for technicians and artists, while The Forum Group will enable a diverse pool of talent to obtain greater opportunities in the production industry.
The recently announced, first-of-its-kind entertainment collaboration is the result of the ongoing production of concerts and live events for talents like Kevin Hart and Nicki Minaj, among others.
According to PRG’s CEO, Stephan Paridaen, the company is currently gaining a high opportunity to shape a workforce that is more reflective of the audiences and artists, as entertainment production activity revives, and it starts hiring talents. It has shown excitement about its alignment with the service pipeline provided by The Forum Group to a pool of talent.
Notably, the founding vision of PRG Forum is to set the bar for forming diverse talent with a focus on inclusion and equity. The rapid progress in production technologies can also provide increased opportunities to elevate and innovate.
As per the statement made by The Forum Group’s Founder and CEO, Kevin Columbus, one of PRG Forum’s guiding principles is to ensure that inclusion and respect function as the cornerstones of the culture.
PRG’s Chief Creative Officer and Executive Chairman, Jere Harris, has reportedly cited that the latest partnership will accelerate and expand the commitment to advancing inclusion, equity, and diversity in production markets.
The development of a career pathway initiative was highly essential to the creation of PRG Forum. This new company will assist the team members with leadership advancement and technical specialization via a guided curriculum and cohort model.
