The pick-up and drop & drop only service will come at a price tag of INR 199 & INR 99, respectively
Ever since India witnessed a sharp rise in COVID-19 cases recently, people in the country are forced to stay indoor to abide by strict government restrictions. Considering customers safety, Samsung India has come up with a new pick-up and drop service for users.
Under this new service, consumers planning to visit Samsung service centers can choose for a drop-only service to get their mobile devices serviced and delivered directly to their home. The service has been initiated in 46 cities including Bangalore, Delhi, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune, among others. However, it is restricted to only non-containment zones that fall under municipal limits and that adhere to curfew rules.
As per the price, the pick-up and drop & drop only service for repairs will cost a nominal price of INR 199 & INR 99, respectively, with options of several digital payment solutions available for consumers.
Sunil Cutinha, VP of Customer Service, Samsung India, pointed out that Samsung considers consumer well-being as a top priority and is committed towards taking every possible step for offering added convenience to users.
The new service will bestow its users with a much safer way to get their smart devices serviced from the comfort of their homes. Samsung is certain that its wide service network and contactless service options will help enhance consumer support while simultaneously providing greater convenience. It is hopeful that consumers will actively take benefit from the pick-up and drop service, added Mr. Sunil.
Notably, apart from the new pick and drop service, Samsung also offers other contactless support services through WhatsApp, Live Chat, Remote Support, technical assistance through call center or access to DIY (do-it-yourself) videos on Samsung’s official website and on YouTube.
